1. To begin, download Windows Media Center.

For Windows 64 bit: .7z Installer (Mega)

For Windows 32 bit: .7z Installer (Mega)

2. Once downloaded, extract all the files and folders using WinRar or WinZIP. You will get a WMC folder.

3. In the WMC folder, right-click _TestRights.cmd and select Run as administrator.

4. Moving on, right-click on Installer.cmd, and select Run as Administrator.

5. Wait for process to complete and restart your system.

After you’ve successfully installed Media Center, it will occur in the Start Menu, under Accessories.

Otherwise, if you upgraded from Windows 7 or 8.1 and previously had WMC installed, or if you’ve previously installed WMC, you may need to right-click the Uninstaller.cmd file and click Run as Administrator to delete any leftover bits of the app before it re-installing it.
