If the Windows Firewall suddenly throws up a message warning that “Windows Firewall has blocked some features of this app” and shows you two options – Allow access and Cancel, when you go on to run a program. If you don’t trust the program, it is best to select Cancel.
If you are getting this problem, I highly recommended you should try these suggestions below:
- First things first, boot your system in “Safe Mode with networking” and scan your computer for viruses with MalwareBytes Anti-Malware then check if it is some malware that is causing this opens.
- A system file corruption can also be the cause of this problem. You can run System File Checker scan to fix it. If it fails to fix found errors, run DISM commands.
- In order to fix this notification, you may want to restore Windows Firewall settings to defaults.
