- Reboot the computer and modem/router.
Method 1: Run a security scan to fix battle net app not installing
In this instance, the first thing you should do is search your computer for malware and remove it. You may do this by using Windows Defender to run a complete scan. Once the scan is complete, check to see whether the problem persists.

1. Click the Start button.
