In most cases, Discord is being stopped in its tracks when attempting to connect to a voice server. If you don’t know how to fix No Route error on Discord, try the following methods one by one.

How to Fix No Route Error on Discord
Method 1. Restart Your Computer and Router
When the IPV6 connection is disrupted by a constantly changing dynamic IP, you may encounter the Discord No Route error. In this instance, you restart the router (or modem) and your computer to solve the Discord No Route error.
To restart computer, you can click on Start menu > Power > Restart to restart your computer immediately. To restart the router, simply unplug the power cable and plug it back in after a few minutes.
After restarting your computer and router, you can check if whether you can connect to Discord voice servers without stumbling on the No Route error. If the issue is still happening, continue down with the next method below.
Method 2. Disable the VPN or Use One with UDP (If Applicable)
The Discord No Route Error is also reported to appear when if the user is actively using a VPN solution that is not configured to use UDP (User Datagram Protocol). This issue happens as the Discord app is not able to run with a VPN that doesn’t have a User Datagram Protocol.
To fix this particular error, the best fix is to disable the VPN completely and try to connect to Discord to a new voice server.
However, if you do need to use the VPN, consult the service provider website for information regarding the usage of UDP. If it does not have a User Datagram Protocol (UDP), you can opt for a different VPN provider.
Method 3. Disable Quality of Service High Packet Priority
Many Discord users reported that after disabling QoS (Quality of Service) from User Settings, they easily get rid of the Discord No Route error.
Here are the steps to disable Quality of Service High Packet Priority:
1. Launch Discord app and click on the gear icon near your account (bottom-left corner).
2. Go to App Settings and click on Voice & Video.
3. Under Quality of Service, make sure that the toggle associated with Enable Quality of Service High Packet Priority is disabled.
4. Re-launch the Discord app and check if the No Route error is still appearing.
Method 4. Change the Server’s Voice Region
If you’re only facing this error when trying to connect to a friend living on a different continent, the problem is most likely happening as the server has a different voice region that yourself.
In this instance, the method is to ask the admin of the server to set a different voice region from the server settings. The server settings can be adjusted by the admin by navigating to Server Settings > Server region.

Method 5. Flushing the DNS Setting
A lot of Discord users have reported that this error was fixed after resetting IP configurations. Follow these steps:
1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
2. In the Command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew
3. Restart your computer and check if the No Route error has been resolved at the next startup.
Method 6. Check Whether Discord is Blocked by Your Network Admin
If you’re only getting the issue when trying to use DIscord from a work or school network, communication apps have likely been blocked by the network administrator. This method allows Discord to communicate with outside servers and circumvent the No Route error. Follow these steps:
1. Press Windows Key + R then type “ncpa.cpl” in Run dialog box. Click OK to open Network Connections.
2. When Network Connections window opens up, locate your Network Adapter and right-click on it and select Properties.
3. In the Properties screen of your connection, navigate to the Networking tab, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on Properties.
4. Then, move down to the DNS server settings and change it to Use the following DNS server addresses. Now, change the value of Preferred DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and the value of Alternate DNS server to 8.8.4.4. Click OK to save the changes.
5. Reboot your system.
