How To Download Forge For Minecraft
Step 1) Download Forge
You must first download Forge in order to install it. The download link is provided below.
Because Forge has been around for a long time, you can choose from a variety of versions, starting with Minecraft 1.13.2 and ending with the most recent version of the game. For a long time, Forge has been the go-to mod for customized Minecraft. On the right side, choose whatever version you want; unless you’re using older mods, I’d prefer the most recent version. If you’re using Minecraft 1.12.2, for example, you’ll want to choose the 1.12.2 version of Forge. If you’re using a Windows computer, choose “Windows Installer” after selecting your version. If you’re using a Mac or Linux computer, select the “Installer” option. We’ll be using the Windows Installer for the sake of this tutorial.
Step 2) Get Through The Ad-Wall
If the founders of Forge want to keep it going, they’ll have to generate some money. As a result, in order to download Forge, you must first get past an ad-blocker. You’ll be brought to a webpage that appears similar to the one above after hitting the download button. Whatever the information on the page says, do not click ANYTHING except the red “SKIP” button in the top right, which will appear after a few seconds. Forge will begin downloading once you see and click the red skip button.
Step 3) Open The Forge Program
It’s time to open the Forge program after you’ve downloaded it. Simply double-click the symbol to accomplish this. A warning message from Windows Defender or your antivirus program of choice may appear.
