2] Update the driver

You must first launch Device Manager in order to update the driver.
- Open Device Manager by typing it into the search box.
- Navigate to Network Adapters.
- Right-click on your Network Adapter from the list.
- Update the driver by selecting it.
- Restart your computer after the update is complete.
- Check to see if the problem with your mobile hotspot has been resolved.
3] Change Adapter Settings
- On your PC, go to the Mobile Hotspot settings.
- To open Settings, press Win+I and select Network & Internet.
- Select Mobile Hotspot from the left window by scrolling down.
- Change adapter options can be found under ‘Related Settings‘ in the right pane.
- Right-click on your mobile hotspot adaptor and select Properties.
- Open Sharing tab and Uncheck “Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection”.

4] Check Registry settings
Open Registry Editor by typing regedit in the Start menu. Select Run as administrator from the context menu. Go to the following registry key now:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WlanSvc\Parameters\HostedNetworkSettings\
In the right pane, right-click HostedNetworkSettings and select Delete.
