Method 1. Repair or Update Microsoft .NET Framework components
To begin, check installed programs to see if the latest version of .NET Framework is installed. Follow these steps:
1. Press Windows key + R, then type “appwiz.cpl” in Run box and click OK to open Programs and Features.
2. Find Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile in the list of installed programs. Select on it and click Repair.
3. When the repair is finished, click Finish, and then click Restart Now to restart your system.

2. Unzip/extract the file you downloaded using Winrar or Winzip.
3. Find cleanup_tool.exe in the folder you created and run it.
4. In the Product to cleanup window, select a .NET Framework version that you want to uninstall. Click Cleanup Now.
5. Once the .NET Framework component is removed, restart the computer
6. Now download and install the latest .NET runtime version:
Restart your computer and try to install Microsoft Office again.
